Event Description: The first five years of life are the most important in setting the stage for a child's development and lifelong growth. As providers, knowing the importance of early development and how to support young children is critical to our work with families. In this overview training, we discuss the reasons why early intervention is important for children, families, and society before reviewing the Early Stages special education referral and evaluation process. Join us for a refresher on these concepts and be sure to share with any new members of your team!
Effective February 1, 2021, Early Stages is providing in-person evaluation appointments in a limited capacity. Find our most updated operating status during the COVID-19 pandemic here.
